awkwaard answering machine messages for guys are gayer than texts.
Yeah, but what about multiple calls to a phone with caller ID without leaving a message?

text messaging is great for pranks too. got a new cell phone a month back, sent a text message to a friend of mine, she called in sick, i sat at her station
me: i sat on your chair, we are now one. hope you feel better soon. her: who are you?? me: i'm the guy of your dreams, you just don't know it yet. her: that's creepy, just plain creepy... i call her to laugh and say IT'S ME! she answers then hangs up. she tells me about it at work the next day and i laugh and show her the msgs on my phone. i get bitch slapped in turn...

ya not sure why OOT seems so anti text-messaging.
Amoung my friends its much easier to get thigns planned. Send one message to multiple users with a suggestion, receive a bunch of one words answers saying yes or no.
