Default Playing big $ tournament on dialup?

Guys-

Couldnt find anything speaking to this using the search feature.

Do any of you guys regularly play tournaments > $50 on a dialup connection? I'm at the beach, and I'd like to play in some of the big tourneys going on today.

I'm assuming 52 K is fast enough not to have to worry about anything, but how often does a dialup connection spontaneously cut off??

Thanks for any input on this,

JoS

I guess it depends on the ISP, but my experience has been great with dial up and internet poker.

The need for broadband speed is not needed. I use to dread playing with Direcway (tons of disconnects). Thank god for Comcast.
