What kind of notes are you taking?
Are you guys taking notes. And if so, what kind of things do you find most important?
example: bluff raises turn when pick up flush draw waits for turn to raise trips Also, are you guys using the game time window in PT? How valuable do you find data mining to be? |

Re: What kind of notes are you taking?
I data mine and use PT game time windows. I take notes on specific behaviour, but then I don't often look at them again but I find I remember them more likely if I note it when it happens. Generally in my mind i'm just thinking "god this guy is crap at poker" or simply "moron", occasionally I think of strip and giggle "chook" to myself.

Re: What kind of notes are you taking?
Some notes on notes
My notes aren't nearly as extensive as bison's. In fact, my notes can be broken down to 1. "clown" = lag that needs to be called down 2. "huge clown" = huge lag that needs to be called down even more 3. "CS" = calling station 4. "huge CS" = ... 5. "idiot" = he sucked out on me at one time or another. this note doesn't tell me anything about his play, however. 6. "solid" = rarely gets used. |
