Almost all of the Stars buyings will be donations, and then doubled. But the Paradise will only have half the money going to charity - and then double it to get back to the total buyin.

if you transfer to paradise acct "katrinahelp", 100% will be matched. the tourney is just another mechanism, and as slacker pointed out, the net is same.

the stars tourneys are pure donation pools with set amounts (since only one penny is going to prize fund). in essence, they have structured the donation amounts. at paradise you can give 1cent to a 1 million dollars. at stars you can give $5, $10, $50 or $100.
