Default Could I please get comments on two hands...

I posted these in this forum because I get much better feed back from you guys here. Anyways I haved moved down a level when online as suggested here.

Hand number one I thought the other guy might of hit a set. Should I have folded this on the river?

Hand number two I was certain I was up against AA or KK. I hoped it was kings and that is why I called the preflop reraise hoping to hit an ace on the flop. Hitting the two pair sucked me in for the show down.

Both of these were typical players.

Hand 1 I think you played fine.

Hand 2 you should have folded pre-flop.

First one . I like that one .
He called your raise whi K6 what a nice guy
And his raise was only to try to take the pot if you dint have a k and the turn is an ugly card so i would call it bad luck

The ather one is a little harder what i think.
Rerase is a great read raise or what i can say . " bad at eng" beacuse some pepole only reraise whit AA KK.

So if you have that read then fold. Preflop. And it is also our image that is important here. If you think you have rased alot and not have showeddaown good hands. Then he might rasie whit hands like AJ . But in normal case he has atlease AK, Pocket pair. So fold. And he had positio. so fold. But you called here and you hit a great flop what can i say good played after that. He could have Ak also.

I am on a break from poker

I think you have to fold to the Reraise on the river in the second hand. Remember he reraised strong preflop and then bet ridiculously small on the flop, that is screaming monster. I don't see any hand your ahead of that would reraise preflop and raise the river. Also a fold preflop isn't too hard. Out of position, easily dominated hand...

I'm a little bit curious that if you were "certain" that your opponent held AA or KK why you re-raised him on the river (or even called that river re-raise). Did you lose sight of your initial read, because I'm sure you know that KK would not play this way.

PS, this is my inaugural post on 2+2. I've been lurking around for a little while and have decided to post after my finals were finished. Also, I haven't played higher stakes NL for very long, take with a grain of salt.

I hate folding to minraises preflop. It disturbs my mental peace.
