it is a [censored] bookmark. applications install them all the time. it can be deleted with 3 mouse clicks

whenever i come across things like this i always ask myself would i like the perpetrator to be shanucking my wife under my nose

I knew how to remove it. It doesn’t even really affect me because I don’t use IE. My email to support was simply to let them know that I do not like it.

It is invasive and presumptuous, a technique I would expect from a porn site operator, not from a business where trust/credibility is an absolute necessity.

I would guess that they have hired a new programmer, and in my opinion, this sort of thing says a lot about his sense of ethics. I wouldn’t want this guy to have access to my source code, much less the freedom to modify it. A recently departed forum spammer would probably love to have him on her (non)payroll.

No its not and no it can't.

Its a Toolbar Button and an entry into your Tools Menu. Big difference.
