I don't quite understand how the prize structure makes it a waste of time.

to compare Party is paying $375 to 400th place, and $4000 to 19th place, for a tournamnet with 250k less in the prizepool

3195 at first break. My table had a few super-loose donkeys but I didn't get nearly as many of their chips as I hoped. Ah well.

T3595 at the first break. I had AA and KK stand up. Must be Christamas. Of course I didn't win much with them.

So what? I still don't understand how that makes this bad. The reduction in variance from a flatter payout structure has it's advantages.

Better players are going to have higher finish distributions than other players.. so this is basically taking money from the better players.

I don't think it's enouogh to counter the 100k overlay though.

this is similar to the problem players have with the 20% payouts.
