Default Kicker counterfeited, then un-counterfeited

Party 3/6

I raise AcJs UTG+1. Only unknown MP calls.
Flop is AhQh2s. I bet, he calls.
Turn is the 2c. I bet, he calls.
River Qc. I...

At 3/6? Bet/call. I wouldn't fold for a single bet.... and if you would fold to a single bet, you might as well check/call.

I also wouldn't fold this to a raise, but you have to bet here. He will probably call you with a mid pocket pair and an Ace lower kick.

I think a river bluff raise is less likely at 3/6 and thus I would be more comfortable folding to a raise. Just because I'm advocating folding for a single bet doesn't mean c/c'ing is equivalent as hero is losing a ton of value the times villian checks behind with Ax or a pp and we miss a value bet.

Is anyone tempted to checkraise?

I bet, and call a raise.
Folding to a raise not only might fold the best hand against a stupid bluff, but also will have bad meta-game implications as I would't want to be persieved as capable of folding to one bet on the river.
(Maybe the latter reason is not too important . . what do you think?)

Bet/fold would be terrible, here, IMO. If you're Villan and you stayed in preflop with A7s, you wouldn't EVER raise on this river?

I hate bet/fold on the river. Yes, checking might lose you some value, but betting and folding to a raise costs you an entire pot and gets you nothing.

I think bet-call is a lot better than checkraise.
