Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
Everytime I say "nh" it's 100% sarcastic. I never say it to someone who outplayed me or anything like that. They know it was a nice hand, no need for me to tell them.
I tell that stupid fish "nh" when his 93o rivers trip threes to beat my AA. They probably never take it as sarcastic though which is good, since it keeps them chasing. And as someone said before they always say "ty", and that pisses me off even more. |

Typically always sarcastic from me. Keep the fish happy.

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
From me it is never sarcastic. I never say a word when someone gives me a bad beat. Since I play a SnG and most bad beats that are annoying makes me go out of the tourney I just close the table.
I do say "nh" or "nice" when someone gets a good hand (quads etc) or when a fish gets top pair. |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
I usually say, "nh you [censored] prick, i'm going to burn down your house and murder your family if you do that again."
So I guess I am not that sarcastic. |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
Never. Most of the time I'll say "nice one" instead, because nh has been coopted by tilting players who don't understand poker and I don't want my genuine comment to be taken sarcastically.
I want to make the experience of cracking my aces with crap to be the most fun the other guy has all night. When they walk away "knowing" that aces always lose and 8-5 is a good hand as long as it's suited, the extra effort it takes to be good natured about it is more than worth it. Martin |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
When "nh" is proffered sarcastically, the perfect response is "ty" - usually knocks the tilter even more off balance.
IMHO, if one semi-bad beat upsets you so much that you feel the need to resort to sarcasm, you've got a long way to go to become tiltless.... |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
I usually only say "nh" when someone flops full or pulls off four of a kind. It's fun to watch, even if you're on the losing end.

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
Virtually nil.
I usually count to 10 (to let my blood pressure drop) instead of telling a suckout "nh". I will compliment people who I have completely misread and tricked me into betting into/calling down their monsters ... and I mean it sincerely. |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
I would say that a little over half of the time it's sarcastic, but that doesn't matter.
Whether it was a really nice hand or not, or whether some fish understand I'm being sarcastic after a giant suckout, it's all positivity in the chat box. There's too many asshat table coaches. Lets keep everyone playing. |

Re: Hiow often is \"nh\" sarcastic?
If I ever say anything like that, it's genuine. I don't use terms like "nh" sarcastically because I'm not a whiny little bitch .
I take my bad beats like a man and flip the bird to my monitor. |
