Re: Luxor or Aladdin
Aladdin, for sure. The poker room in the Luxor is a miserable, horrible place to be. Their dealers are awful, the drink service shatty, the toureys crap, and so on. By way of contrast, the dealers & staff at Aladdin are fantastic, the drink service is super prompt, the tourneys affordable and sensibly structured, and so on.
I played 3/6 at Aladdin in December, the game got down to 3 handed and they agreed to deal if with NO RAKE. Now tell me what other casino is gonna do that for the players? |

Re: Luxor or Aladdin
I've actually dealt 4 handed games with no rake or 1.00 rake, and jackpot drop (which is 100% refunded to the high hands).
The morning tourney just hit a record of 127 players. Not too shabby since we only had 11 tables. You can buy in as an alternate (just like 2k4 WSOP) and as people bust, you go right in. Not bad for a tourney that used to get 30-50, now is getting 90+ every day. Same thing with the afternoon one as well now. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's pretty common in Vegas. Almost any room will give you at least a discounted rake for short-handed games in order to keep them going. I've playeed heads-up 20-40 with no rake at the Mirage for about half an hour in order to try and start up a second game. |
