Joe,

I'm 21, with blond curly hair, 6'2 ish, probably wearing cufflinks (semi-superstitiously...). I don't think you were in my game but I'm not sure.

Agreed hand one is fine but you have to bet the river. Hand 2 is very standard IMO, you can easily have the best hand.

In hand 1, I think people are way overestimating the likelihood that either: a) we have the best hand; b) we are folding a better hand.

One thing I noticed about Bellagio locals is they will call your turn raises and then fold the river when you bet again - its like "ok i finally believe you". I had several overpair hands with that action where I get to raise the turn, they call and then fold the river. I should have done that with my unimproved overcards much more.

I like Hand 2. I'm not a fan of Hand 1, though DD's comments about the game (with which I am unfamilar) might sway me towards being more comfortable with it.

Default Results and thoughts...

Hand 2 is fairly standard. It's easy to put the 2p2er on a small pocket pair. The K gives my Ace-high more outs and massive folding equity and thats exactly what happened, he folded.

Hand 1 was imagine based. I was really locked into this table and earlier the SB asked, "how long have you been playing cards?" after I raised 2 streets w/KK when bet into, bet the river and dragged it. I'll post this hand in a bit. I did not answer him. He tanked, and folded. This turn raise is much thinner and I don't think it's correct without meta-game indications.

Default A thought about Hand#2

Hand#2, if I was the 2p2 SB, I think he missed a perfect time to bet out on the flop.
