Three bet the turn and for god's sake, bet the river.

Any thoughts on 3betting the turn? Why can't UTG have JT or the likes. Why can't the cold caller on the turn have a spade draw or a pair of his own? I think I like 3-betting the turn given the nice overlay you have with two people in.

I thought about 3 betting the turn and folding to a raise, but that was after the hand was over.

Given how I played it, would you cold call 2 on the river?

This was probably the best line to take but the cold caller slowed me down. I would have called 1 bet on the river but 2 was pushin it after he cold called the turn.

Anyways had I 3 bet the turn the hand would have played out differently

The cold caller should encourage you to 3bet on a board like this. It's almost never indicative of a hand that is ahead of you, but it will often be a hand that won't put any money in on the river if his draw doesn't hit.

I think the turn is a pretty clear 3bet, and the river is a fold given the way you played it. But had you 3bet the turn you would likely be seeing a showdown because the pot would be bigger and it'd probably only be one back to you.
