A year ago Terry Francona looked and acted like a deer in headlights. Now a World Championship later we get Parcellian-like quotes like this from last night.

He was answering about his first "conversation" with the home plate umpire after he had thrown out the Sox batting coach for remarks that he couldn't possibly have heard. The ump told Francona that he read his lips. Francona says to the press, "read his lips? The fukcing guy can't even see the ball right in front of him, what a bullshiit answer".

Pure gold, imo.
