Default which hand is better?

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS A BETTER HAND HEADS UP. ACE/7 VS. Q/8. I WANT TO EXCLUDE STRAIGHT AND FLUSH PROBABITLITES. MY FIGURE WAS THE Q/8 A ROUGHLY 65% CHANCE OF WINNING. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE EXACT NUMBERS. THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Why would you want to exclude flushes and straights, are you proposing new hand rankings like BruceZ???

Including flushes and straights, A7o beats Q8o 58% of the time. Since Q8 makes straights more easily (ie 4 of them dont have to be on the board!) obviously A7 is even stronger ignoring straights. Your 65% for Q8 is way off.
