Don't see how it could be anyone else. He hasn't even uttered one word in any televised tourney that I can remember.

But don't misconstrue this as a critizism. His stoic nature makes him virtually unreadable but it is not entertaining.

[/ QUOTE ]

He was giving Kathy Liebert grief after her outburst on PSI, causing her to bitch even more, which was fairly amusing.

On a purely "entertainment" standpoint, I'm not a Phil Ivey fan. He shows no emotion, rarely talks and does nothing "funky". However, he is great to learn from.

And what is "recent" anyway? With the big variance in the big tourneys, "recent" results mean nothing. Disrespecting a great player like him shows how stupid you are.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude, calm down. Saying somebody's been performing badly is not disrespecting that person. We need less hate in this world.

He's supposed to be much better behaved in the post-Crew days:

God I hope you were kidding, or plan on getting out more this month.

Surrinder Surner (sp?) . . .the guy that took no less than 30 seconds on each hand and we were privy enough to get to see all 30 seconds. Oh god, that made for TERRIBLE TV. That's why poker could never be live.

So my answer is SS (that is until Raise Phillips becomes old enough to play)

I actually think Brunson, Howard L., and Phil Ivey are pretty boring to watch. Kind of like watching sampras playing tennis..very good but very boring.

I like watching good players but I prefer watching crazy players like Phil H. and the crazy asians.

Don't know about you guys, but I think Phil Ivey can be very entertaining. Actually I find it extremely funny when he bluffs off all his money, busts out and then looks like a fish who just got smacked on the head by someone with a huge frying pan.

Even better are his interviews when he talks like a robot on how much he is looking forward to the challenge to play for so much money and such. Hilarious!

The guy that stands out to be least entertaining for me is Lyle Berman's son. He was so boring to watch, I even forgot his first name.
