I play it the same way on every street including pre-flop FWIW.

unlikely you win this hand, but vs. a guy with 2.0 agg, you will see AA/KK/AQ enough to make this +EV to call down.

I usually bet/3-bet these situations because:
1) I feel my hand is strong enough and I'd like to get UTG trapped in the middle for 3 bets.
2) I can guarantee that at least 1 bet goes in on the flop. If it gets checked through on that drawy flop, a lot of cards will kill your hand.
