2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 folds, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (6.67 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets, BB calls, CO folds.

Turn: (4.33 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (4.33 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

how do you like the turn check?

If i check this turn I'm folding the river. If I'm calling the river, I'm betting this turn. Very op dependant and I would bet or check/give up 50/50 of the time probably

why that? you either induce a bluff and fold or try for a free showdown and call anyway if he bets?

A6-A3 and KQ are about the only hands you beat here. I think this is a fold on the river.

I would bet this turn and check behind on the river to avoid giving a random [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] a free card. If he check-raises the turn, it is an easy fold.

Yes I like the the turn check.

On this hand fold the river. You can't beat any card 7 through J.

Forget the turn... why did you pay off the river? There are 19 individual cards that beat you now, not to mention all hands suited in diamonds. If he called on a flush draw, it's most likely an ace high flush draw, right? Now he has to have this bare ace, and have missed the board, and bluff it into you. How likely is that?

The board is terrible for your hand. Take your free card and give up when you miss.

my main interest was the turn because we had a discussion about it in another forum.
the board is absolutely terrible indeed. you convinced me that a fold is in order.
