My standard open in LP is $35. Some players miniraise, some players open to $40 or $45. In this hand I really didnt want the big blind to fold because he was bad and I had position with a decent hand, so I made a raise that he would call most of the time.

I folded on flop because I thought his range of hands had me crushed. My equity against a straight is big but if he had a bigger set im in bad shape.
Of course he could also be making a value raise with T9 or AA since he has no idea how strong I am.
