I posted last week asking people about their tourney schedule. No one really replied. If still no one replies to your request, would you do me and the board a favor by grabbing a tourney pamphlet and posting their schedule when you get back?

I'm going to make it there in October or November I believe.

uggh. That's too bad. thanks for checking and letting me know. Maybe they'll add that some time once they realize how lucrative it can be.

you going out of dallas (i think that's where you once said you lived)? I go up there to visit a friend quite often and tried to play a game from homepokergames.com. got their info too late but plan on playing next time im up there. I'll let you know if you're ever interested in playing.

Just got back from playing Tuesday night from about 2130 to 0500 Wed morning. All I played was 4/8 and the game was real loose. Usually 5 to 7 seeing the flop and a lot of chasing, which makes for the swings. I was surprised at how busy they were for during the week, lots of action starved Texicans - I guess?
Iliked the 4/8 game but again, it was usually a case of having to show down the best hand. Not much raising anybody out of a pot.

I live in Shreveport and play there(It's the only cardroom in town). The 4/8 games there are really great, but the weekend 10/20 games are just as good. They usually have one table of 20/40 running and sometimes is good sometimes not. I'd just stick with 4/8 or 10/20, always nice and loose. They also have 2/4 No Limit 200 buy-in that looks pretty soft, but I've never played in it.

P.S. Be sure to get on the waiting list early.

Sometimes waits can be like 4+ hours, sometimes there's no wait. It just depends. I usually just check the list and see how many people are on it. If there's alot just get on it and keep calling in and check where your name is on the list. If it's not too long I usually just hang around and wait.
