Default How man SNGs did you play before you started showing profit?

Ive played a little over 100 11's on party and so far i seem to be about break even, sometimes im negative a few buyins sometimes im up but in the end im usualy break even.

Right now i 3 table them and im wondering for all those that multitable, out of any given set of tables how many do you expect to cash in? my ITM is 37% but if i start up a set of 11's and only get 2nd on 1 table thats leaving me about break even and this seems to happen alot

I realize 100 is very small but im just looking for some advice, how many people start off with a negative roi?

I'd try dropping to 2 tables and see if you can win a little more consistently. For the record on the first 3 that I've kept records, I had a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd.

Play another 220 at break even, then take my shoes off and give them back to me.

Also, go over your HHs, your're probably not aggressive enough late in the game. That was one of my problems.

Why do you 3 table at a level where you are breaking even? Wouldnt it be a better idea to 1 table them, untill you are beating the game?

EDIT:
Sorry, answered to the wrong post. The question was for the OP.

I've been breaking even for on PS for a while...

Its possible I have some major leaks I need to fix...
Its possible I've been running bad....
Its also highly possible that I suck....

Anyone think the variance is higher in the lower buy-ins?

(that would comfort me)

Broke even for my first 30-40 and then went solidly +ROI at the 10s.

But I'm now in the middle of (well, hopefully near the end of) a 300+ tournament run at break-even to slightly-negative (at the 30s now), so yeah, I wouldn't read too much into 100 tournaments -- just keep studying and keep learning and you'll probably be positive eventually.
