As trite as it may sound, I've always found that when I'm in that giving mood, something always presents itself...

Keep your ears open and know you don't have to necessarily give it to a "big organization," but there may be small ones, right in your own community, doing good work to help people right in your area.

Sadly enough, there is never a shortage of people in need.
