Maybe you should use letters for hot keys instead of numbers.

I use the numbers above the keyboard for bet size and the numpad for hotkeys.

You can't use the slider or type in bet amounts when using hot keys that you have set up to the numeric keypad.

The only way to type in amounts is to turn off the num lock key and type in your amounts using the numbers on the top row of the keyboard.

That's what got me. I'm so used to using the numpad for numbers I didn't think twice about trying to key in my 175 chip bet.

Insert "ctrl" or "alt" in front of all of your hot keys so you're required to hold a button down while using them.
Then, when you want to key a bet amount you don't have to worry about hotkeying by accident.
