Default KQo against the last defender of the blinds

I've been at the table less than an orbit (posted in CO, and now I'm UTG+1).

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 7 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

He 3-bet me PF, might've just been defending, but might have something. When the K falls I figure I'm in WA/WB land...agree? I plan to call-call-raise UI, betting if checked to on the river.

Turn: (4.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ?

Aw, eff. Well, there goes that plan...poor little guy, only lived for about 12 seconds. What's my line (actually, I know what MY line was...what would YOUR line be)?

check, induce a bluff? (I'm doing that too much these days)

if checked on river, bet, fold to raise(assuming no [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])

from my experience at 1/2 the players don't really focus much on adjusting to blind steals .. coupled with you raising in EP, its a legit raise a lot of the time here

anyway bet the turn, fold if raised he could have a hand like JJ or QQ and want to get to SD quickly.

Im curious boz, why not reraise flop. I think that solves prob in two ways. Only two hands that beat you on flop AA Ak. if no reraise we have a decent read and if checked to on turn can then bet or take free card, although im inclined to bet out.IF raised on turn drop and if not then im bettin river. Is my thinkin screwed up or is this a viable play

This line isn't unreasonable in most situations (in fact I would check behind almost everytime), but it isn't wise in this paticular spot. The 3 flush on board makes this one a must bet imo.

It's a good question, and one I was asking myself as I played the hand. As I said, when I got 3-bet by the OOP Villan and then caught my king on the flop, I put myself in WA/WB mode and picked a call-call-raise line.

Default Bitching and moaning

Oh, and I'm also in the midst of a run of the crappiest cards I've ever seen. For instance, I just had a hand folded to me on the button with ATo. I raise. Both blinds call. The flop came QQK. Long story short, the BB defended with K6o and wound up with kings full.

WHy is this a definate three bet with flush represented on board brad. If its obvious im either way to tired or have some really bad holes in my game because i cant figure out why. both of which could be true
