Default New Winstar room?

Anyone know when Winstar (on the OK/TX border) is going to open up their new room?

Also, any commentary on the play up there or on the casino in general would be appreciated.

At first it was Oct. then Dec. now it is sometime after the 1st of the year. Who knows.. They are moving to the other end where the bingo hall is. Supposed to bring in 7 stud and Omaha/8 and have between 50-60 tables. The play at the lower limits is pretty soft. Although at times not quite as soft as when they opened about 6 mos. ago. Hope this helps.

The soft games run from Casino to Casino here in OK. When Lucky Star first opened my dog could make money up there. Then it got to be all regulars as the fishes ran out of money. Same pretty much goes for all the newer Casino's. The softest game right now is at Kaw Nation but it's at the Northern edge of the state. It really even has that home game fealing. Newcastle just south of OKC has a juicy game right now as well. I just quit Lucky Star and am headed to run the room in Newkirk to try and make it better.

is this supposed to make the old people who play bingo play cards? that would be the only reason i could think of because it seems pretty ridiculous to think that a bigger room would start a wider variety of games.

the new room really has nothing to do with them bringing in these other games. They just wanted to get their Green dealers some experience before they threw omaha at them. It's a bad game for the house as it is and add slow dealers to the equation its not worth having.
