Limp-Reraising
for shits, I decided tonight to limp reraise AA/KK, AKs-AJs, KQs, QJs in the first 2 spots if there were at least 2 players with 20+ PFR's. I went 0/5. I feel like there must be some value at laggy tables. the only problem is I have no hands to mix them up with. could this potentially let me start limping with medium pairs (currently folding 66 UTG most of the time) and medium suited connectors (currently folding JTs-98s UTG)?
not sure if my limps struck fear in them, but every time except one, it was folded around to the blinds after I limped. do I need these hands to protect my QJo, KTo, and QTs raises? |

Re: Limp-Reraising
I'd skip the limp-reraising at shorthanded games. Your success rate will be low even at aggressive tables and I'd much rather raise and get 3-bet than limp and reraise.
I limp-reraise at full ring tables and I don't balance my play at all. I never want for action. |

Re: Limp-Reraising
I've also had almost no success with limp-reraising short handed. I very much like it in agressive full games though. I think I will use it in party 30-60 when I play again.

Re: Limp-Reraising
Of the couple times I have tried for it I've been unsuccesful as well. At least in 5/10 short I think this move really isn't worth using.

Re: Limp-Reraising
The only time I ever done it SH was against a guy who would allways raise unraised pots, but would never 3-bet.
I did it to much and he stopped raising preflop, DOH |

Re: Limp-Reraising
What limit? Anything 15/30 or lower and such trickiness is probably counterproductive regardless of whether you mix-in other hands like you suggest.
