Default When is it considered short handed and I can ease up pre-flop?

I get confused when it's down to 6 or 7 players. How much can I loosed up pre-flop? Even in late position with 2 callers, I am mucking any Kxo or Qxo. Should I not be? I feel like that will dwindle my stack lead when I have 4k and the average is around 2.5k with blinds being 100/200.

Any thoughts on when to loosen up more and play low suited connectors, or face card and rag?

If the blinds are tightish, nothing wrong with raising with those hands. Don't limp UTG. No point in that.

IF you are looking for a clearcut answer to this, you wont get it. Its more shades of grey, a gradual transition.

One thing i should say, though, is that you shouldnt be lowering your standards much, you just want to play the hands more aggressively.
