Default Re: Getting thrown out of a Vegas poker room

I am beginning to believe it's almost impossible to get thrown out of any room at any time for doing anything short of setting a table on fire or urinating on it.

Last Sunday night, for example, at the Mirage four dealers from another casino (at least one from 2+2 who had the joy of my comedic stylings) and I were all at various stages of wrecked and were carrying on to the point where a number of times I thought someone would at least say something and yet...

...nothing.

Alcohol is a helluva drink.

There's unfortunately an invisible line where "good fun" turns into "barfight" and we must all be careful not to cross it.

At the Bellagio, two friends are obviously checking down / soft playing. They raised me out of a pot, then check each other down. One has a monster, one has nothing.

If one had a monster, why would he want you out? And unless Vegas changed rules, two players can raise you out and chop the pot. It doesn't mean they are colluding. It just means they are more perceptive than you are.

She says I'm not allowed to curse and mock other players, this of course is news to me.

ROFLMFAO!

If you kept it up, you'd eventually get thrown out of both rooms. It depends on the staff on hand how much bullpucky they put up with. Too many f-bombs will get you thrown out of everywhere eventually, in some rooms it may be quick tho. Other such behavior, like giving out unwanted nicknames, ridiculing players etc usually gets you at least a warning or two.

As for the obvious collusion, for that deal you quietly and discreetly go see the floor and point it out, taking particular note of what the board was and what hands were shown down. That's the kind of bullpucky that any decent floor would put a stop to right away. As soon as you drop the f-bomb, they magically grow halos over their heads and you grow horns, so if you want anything done about it, don't lose your cool.

Glad you liked that line. Unfortunately, I suspect most posters here took it at face value.

As I hope I implied well enough in the OP, I just wanted the colluders to understand that I knew what they had tried and the last thing I wanted was the floor getting involved and possibly tossing them. Then again one guy didn't even see the collusion present in the situation I described so who knows what got across.

But regardless, as we have now come full circle and posts are merely pointing out that yes, I am in fact an [censored], it's probably time to let this thread die and enjoy the holiday.

I'll head back to OOT and leave you with your discussions on exactly how much the poker rate at Casino X is and whether or not a raise all in counts if he says call all in instead of raise all in.
