If I were villain I'm not sure I would expect someone with a T or 5 to lead out here, so it looks suspicious. I'm not sure what line I would take, maybe CR the flop?

I agree it looks suspicious but how do you think villain will react to this?

I like it actually. It puts Villain in a real though spot. It's pretty hard to pull the trigger on a bluff raise here at least it is for me.

i prefer a check/call just cos id find it hard to fold to a raise vs this guy. Is this a bet/fold?

Interesting, I like it. It seems like being OOP has given us the chance to fire first and take this small-ish pot away from the button.

I think if you bet you have to fold to a raise. I don't think he raises a worse hand here very often. Maybe a low PP on occasion. I don't think he semi-bluffs often here. There's too much of a chance he would get 3-bet by a str8.

I`d c/r the flop most of the times. As you did not I want to c/r the turn if villain is aggressive(fold to a 3-bet).

not sure it matters but this is a pretty popular NL line with a marginal made hand. (no 4 to a straight required for it either) I think there are a lot of good reasons to paly this way. especailly with the 4 to a straight--that makes it very nice.

I think it is pretty easy for villain to raise in this spot with a marginal hand with no outs to beat the str8.
