I'd play it the same way.

Your hand is too strong to just call a river raise in my opinion.

Call the river raise. After you checkraise the turn, what do you think he's going nuts with on the river?

Am I the only one who's not too thrilled with middle pair and a backdoor flush draw on that flop? I fold the flop..

I'd have to agree. Sub-marginal call.
9-to-1 with middle pair, middle kicker, backdoor draw.

I only call that when I'm on tilt.

I'd call the river down here. After your check-raise on the turn, you'd have to wonder what his reasoning to raise the river was.

What?? This is an easy flop call. Notice that we hold the T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is on board so if we do hit our five outer it can't give someone a made flush.
