Re: Flopped Straight + Flush Draw
Muck PF. You don't have enough limpers to justify coming in with this junk.
Reraise the turn. You've got a raiser and a cold-caller in a small field. If someone else has a flush draw (although with only six outs), it's a mistake to let them off cheaply. Jam, jam, jam while you've got the best hand. |

Re: Flopped Straight + Flush Draw
[ QUOTE ]
easy fold preflop with only 1 limper in front [/ QUOTE ] Got it. No arguement there. I posted this particular hand looking for advice on the how to extract the most value from the tight opponent who I believe I'm well ahead at the flop. He could be on a higher flush draw, and he could also have any number of less ominous holdings. Any suggestions from the flop on? FWIW - The remaining streets played out like this... Flop: (3 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, BB raises, UTG calls, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, UTG calls, Hero calls. Turn: (7.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls. As suggested, Check/call would work better here to keep him in the pot till the river. I don't yet have strong evidence for the higher flush, I think a small set is most likely given the action on the flop. C/R BB if a blank comes on the river? River: (9.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG calls. Final Pot: 11.50 BB |
