my biggest problem with check/call is that overcards are checking behind here and overpairs are betting.

is c/r the flop or turn going to get him to ever fold a better pair? I don't think so. the only hands it gets him to fold are reverse dominated hands and KQ.


like I said I think I played this oddly and have no idea if it was right, but this was my thinking at the time.

i was actually hoping the suspiciousness of the play would make him call down with AK/AQ.
