When does the post office close today?

No. They close at noon in my experience. I think mail is picked up at around 1 or 2pm today, but not again until Monday morning at 6am.

they are. even an extension request must be filed by 15 Apr.

Actually I think that if you don't owe money you will just have to pay a small late filing fee, less than $100. If you owe money than interest will be charged against the money you owe and you will have to pay extra. This is just my general understanding and I may be wrong on some specifics.

I dont even pay taxes (i'm 18 with not just just play poker and dont have enough winnings to file) and i knew when the deadline was, you ever turn on a TV the last week thats all the talk about on the news lol just giving you a hard time, good luck getting those taxes in

Assuming you are small fry, they won't beat you up too bad. IIRC, there are late fees, penalties, and interest accrued.

Most likely, they won't bother you.

The penalty is .5%/month of whatever you owe, plus relatively low interest. I think (but I'm not positive) that they don't charge a penalty if you are due a refund.
