Thoughts on the 10+1 (One Rebuy, One Addon)?

I'm playing my first one of these now, and it's amazing how more than half the players don't rebuy immediately. Are these more fishy/easier than your average 30+3 tournaments?

Didn't you answer your own question? More than half the players dont rebuy immediately which makes it more +EV to those that do.

Well, I just wasn't sure if this was a regular phenomenon or if it was just a Friday night thing.

Nope, any site that offers these 1 rebuys tourneys, I know of 2 off hand, offer good players a large edge because generally people play and rebuy only if needed. I am, however, unsure whether a good player's edge is higher in an unlimited rebuy format, or a 1 rebuy format.
