Default Representing a 6

5/10 prima, Villain has 5k and is more or less steam rolling the table, combination of good cards and mediocre play. He is live. I try and play everypot I can with him. He is lag preflop, a lot more tame postflop, I've pushed him around a little, he's shown me the goods a little. I have about 1500 and call a minraise from him UTG with about 4 other people, I have the button.

Flop comes 663r

He bets 20, folds to me, I call

Turn is a 4

He bets 50, I minraise

River 4

He checks, I bet 200. Does this look like a 6?

PF action?
If no raise preflop, it looks like a 6. I like the turn minraise.

no, people would raise more w/ trips, especailly against unpredictable players. you have a better chance representing a 4 on that river.

Why would you raise more with trips on a rainbow board? If he comes over the top i throw it away, because then u know hes got a 6 or a boat or a straight.

You say villain is "tame post flop" but is he prone to calling large river bets with less than strong holdings?

You can't bluff a calling station. I'm amazed what some players will call with to my large river bluffs.

I missed my draw, bet huge on the river, and guy calls me with Ace high (A/Q he had).

I'm curious what, did you have, even though it's not really relevant here.

But yes, I'd give you credit for trips here, or better.

because he's up against an action player who probably has a pr and even possibly turned a str8 draw. knowing this fact would you raise the minimun. if his cards are live than he's not going to surrender to weak oppponents. the more you try to confuse him, the more he will want to see what you have. that's what makes them "live".
if i'm only raising the minimun, i'm going to make sure i'm up against an opponent w/ big cards (aa,kk). this guy's liable to have anything and could end rivering the best hand.

I had j9s, so I am definitely losing if I don't bet.

As for the other comments about him being a calling station, he was running into the nuts so much tonight that when he called he won, but he wasn't a calling station, he folded when he missed.

He folded the river here too.
