Default Pokerrooms.com?

I just received an e-mail from PokerRooms.com offering a 20%bonus for first time players. Is this another Party skin? It has that look and feel. In the meantime if anyone doesnt' know about it and is inclined to whore the site, there it is.

That's weird.

I got this e-mail too and it takes you to some sort of party portal or skin.

but if you type 'pokerrooms.com' it takes you to Aceclub.com which is a casino thing.

completely different it appears.

On the acehigh.com there is a link for 'poker' but it just links you directly to empirepoker.com

If I click on the 'download' for 'pokerrooms' the box says 'opening empirepokersetup.exe.

I would type out the whole link that I got in the e-mail (which is pokerrooms.com/index.htm?......etc etc etc so that you could see how the pokerrooms site looks different at first....
but I suspect it is some sort of affiliate link and I don't want to give them any assistance.

It really does appear to be a completely different skin at first though....and that's what I thought it was as well.

but it just appears to be some sort of 'portal' (is that the correct term?) taking you to empire poker as opposed to a completely different skin.

this thing came along with a couple of other spam e-mails (for mortagages and crap) within the past 24 hours. This address that I received pokerroom.com and the 2 other spam e-mails at had been COMPLETELY spam-free until yesterday...so I suspect somebody, somewhere got a hold of a partial mailing-list from one of the sites and I'm not exactly thrilled about that.

Add me to the list receivers of the PokerRooms email. Definitely has the look of a Party skin but there are a few unusual looking things. Like the top line -

"You are receiving this advertisement from CompanyName. If you would prefer not to receive uture advertisements from CompanyName, simply unsubscribe via the instructions below."

They can't enter their real name?

And this is the address at the bottom -

12 Griva Digheni St, Limassol, P.O.Box -54277, Cyprus CY

I think I'll pass on this for now unless someone has some more news. It would suck if someone cracked a directory somewhere. Let's hope my Neteller info isn't there as well.
