Prima affiliates

I think I'm going to set up a Prima account, I just have no idea what skin to go through or if there are any affiliates who are particularly reputable I could go through. Any recommendations?

And on a side note, how can Prima offer such high rakeback %?

Imagine a 10-player table where each player has an affiliate who gets 25% of MGR. Suppose the blinds play a heads-up pot that is raked $1.00.

Party says each player contributed $0.10. Ten affiliates each get 2.5 cents for a total cost of $0.25.

Prima says two players contributed $0.50 each. Two affiliates get 12.5 cents each for a total cost of $0.25.

In each case the affiliates are getting 25% of that dollar. The difference in the MGR calculation is real but it doesn't address how much Prima sites can afford to pay their affiliates.

Notice that Prima sites that bring in loose players will make more money per hand than sites that cater to tight players. That's probably healthy for Prima. A provision like that on Party might have made the skin wars a little less severe by focusing more attention on acquiring fish instead of stealing each other's pros.

I think party have changed their raking system aswell now, but could be wrong.

Which ones cater to loose players? I know of at least three where you get 35% standard (source: http://www.rakerebatereview.com/ ): Royal Card Club, Battlefield Poker, and Bet Hold Em.

Assuming none of the skins are any better than the others, I'm still not sure about what affiliates are most reputable. Or does it matter at all since Prima pays the rakeback directly into your account? I've gotten a couple of PMs and that's fine, but recommendations from people who play at Prima would be nice.

Most of the nearly 40 skins primarily bring in fish. The appearance of rakeback-specialist skins such as the ones you mention is a new development. You should visit primapoker.com just to see the list.
