I took a bit of an abnormal (aggro) line here...

This is my first hand at the table.

CO is 79/8/0.7 after 40 hands...

Ultimate Bet 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (2.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls.

River: (6.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets....

i don't understand firing again on the river, what do you think he has that he isn't calling with?

I'm not positive, but it sure looks like you're trying to bluff a calling station! You wouldn't bet doing that now, would you? [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I mean, does this guy bet with A-high on this board? Does he fold another pair?

Of course, an actual read would help - I'm not making this play unless I think villain will fold to aggression. It doesn't look like we know that.

Yeah, bet the flop. If heads-up and that's the turn I'd fire one more. If 3-way and that's the turn I'd check-fold it.

I don't like the flop bet. So many hands are calling, and theres no good turn cards to fire a second barrel too except an out.

once the first guy checks and we're against one of the worst players in the world, i see nothing wrong with betting for value, and then also betting for value on the turn barring a really bad card for us.

i think betting is much much better than check/calling.
