Default Couple of hands for Review from final Table please.

Comments please

Hand 1:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (8 handed) converter

UTG+1 (t48817)
Hero (t57138)
MP2 (t7167)
CO (t16135)
Button (t18542)
SB (t13550)
BB (t42085)
UTG (t106566)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to t5000, Button went all in i folded for 18k, I folded.

Very unsure about this fold. Did i have a big enough stack to maybe take a risk at being dominated and have a chance at having a very good stack? My thinking was that his range of hands could not be that big because he had just pass the blinds and could wait for a good hand.

Hand 2:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t3000 (5 handed) converter

BB (t64817)
Hero (t35038)
MP (t23142)
Button (t69887)
SB (t117116)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises to t7000, Big blind went all in, I folded
Final Pot: t11500

Results in white below:
No showdown. BB wins t11500.

The only hand i had seen him play rly, was when i doubled up on him he made a pretty big raise i pushed with AK and he called with AQ. (opponent was ted_Mclester if anyone knows him)

Hand 3:
Same kinda hand as last one, I just dont feel good about pushing all my chips with AQ

Hero (t28038)
Button (t29892)

Default Re: Couple of hands for Review from final Table please.

i like the first fold,a9 suited is a good hand in a late position, but early, you're pretty likely to be dominated by anyone who pushes from a later position, you could have taken a chance since you had him easily covered, but i'd have also passed on this one.8 handed i don't like raising from ep with that type of a hand,if i'm coming into the pot i'd rather limp and more likely have players fear the aa limp, and try outplay my oppenents after the flop, depending on how many call,i'd really have liked to see a flop with that hand and hope to bust another stack with a good flop,or get away cheap.
both aq's are almost auto pushes 5 handed with approx 10 bb left, most of the time 5 handed aq comes up against a smaller pocket pair or a weaker ace,so you then have a coin toss at worst, well aa or ak is the worst, but you can't go around fearing that if you want to sleep at night!
at a full table aq isn't much, but 5 handed, i fall right in love with it!
