Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Screw you limp-raiser.

BB bets, limp-raiser calls, I raise, everyone calls.

Turn is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB bets, limp raiser calls, I raise, button folds, SB 3 bets, limpraiser calls, I cap, they both call.

River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB bets, limpraiser folds, I raise, SB 3 bets, I wimp out and call.

Actually I think he is losing to two hands technically. He loses to pocket 6s and also 8h7h in the pocket. Right?

Would the SB call the flop, then come alive when a 3c hit on the turn, if he was holding 7h8h?
I think there are a lot of hands he could have that you could win against though, and I would have capped the river.

Do you bet out when you flop quads? With a PF three-better representing AA sitting directly to your left? I don't.

Do you cap the turn heads up with a non-nut four flush? I don't.

Do you cap the river when there are exactly two hands that beat you, both of which are extremely unlikely given the betting? You don't.

Sure looks like he put you on an overpair and overplayed his 6.

Although I have this very strange feeling you're going to tell us the SB had 66 in his hand, I cannot understand any reason that would compell you to not cap the river. The straight flush is 99.99% out of question based on how the SB played the hand, and you're almost guaranteed to be facing a lesser hand (perhaps ace high flush, A6, or a smaller boat if this blind is loose enough to player to play connectors through a PF raise or two). Don't fear ONE hand in the deck that can beat you, take advantage of the extra BB!

Even besides all the reasons that have been mentioned I'll give you another reason to Reraise.

Even someone with the stone cold nuts or quads CANNOT *reraise* you. You're not even going to lose another two bets if you're beat by the nuts, and win one otherwise.
