Default FFL books

Back around '91-'95or6 I used to run an FFL league. It was fun but god some people would act like friggin' babies. Anyways, I used to get a book called the Fantasy Football Guide by Rich Korch. It kicked ass. I know he stopped doing it when he got signed on to a position for, I think it was Carolina Panthers. That was like, about a decade ago.

I'm wondering what the best book out now is. I really liked how Korch used to lay the stuff out if that's any indication as to what I'm looking for.

Thanks

b

Pro Football Prospectus is the best book out there.

And I would have said that anyway.

I wrote two articles in the book and a number of player blurbs as well.

Should have read the authors more carefully. Didn't even notice that.

I really like the rankings in this book though. So close to my own. I think in general most Fantasy Football advice outside of statsitical information is just through experience. I have that. It's the stats that I like to find and read.

I was going to ask this very question today. Does this book have any correlation to that article you wrote? The scoring and explanation of DVOA or something like that was complicated. Does this book work for just regular standard scoring leagues? I usually go to barnes and noble and purchase a magazine for like $7, I can't see myself spending $25-$30 for an online subscription to some site. Of the FF magazine that are out there, which would you recommend?

The book is set for normal scoring. The DVOA, once you get used to it, is a great stats tool for projecting results. Which is one of the main reasons to pick that book up.
