I'd still like some responses here. Anyone?

One last attempt to get some decent responses. Bump.

Or maybe it's just so obvious and I'm just dumb.

You fold on the flop, what's the problem?

Against a large field TP crap kicker with an all [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] board is worthless. Giving them all random hands you are not a favorite. Since they called an all in, your odds go down from there. A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] wants to see two good cards on the flop. AA, A4, 44, or two hearts. This flop was decidedly not that. Fold.

Ok cool. I think there is an argument for pushing, simply b/c I'm fairly desperate at this stage w/ my stack. I was interested in seeing that too.

I strongly disagree. You have just invested 20% of your stack, you have 6x the BB left if you fold, and you have top pair in a huge pot. You are favourite against any flush draw and the pre flop action suggests that nobody has a strong ace or they would ahve raised to isolate the all-in. I think check folding here is way too weak tight, you won't get many better opportunites than this to increase your stack substantially.
