Default The WORST case of not extracting i\'ve ever seen (why party is good)

I'd been looking for a good hand to post as my 10,000th or near it....I can see random villains pushing in here just to be cute and let alone the bettor just foaming at the mouth at making a higher straight to the board and wondering how he'll get money out of it...but FLAT CALL the river bet???????

ok...so they whiffed on a river check-raise right? I'm sure you made "aggressive" (proper) moves at the table when you had a hand so he was waiting for that

It isn't a super bad case of not extracting as me and SB didn't have anything, just thought it was funny.

big deal.

A bigger flush beats him and the pot is only <$5.

This really isn't a bad call here with the low flush.

It's a lot funner than getting into a p.issing contest with a bigger flush then yelling, "NOOOOOO!! COME ON!!!! WHAT ARE THE ODDS!?"

What? A bigger flush beats what? Quad aces?

Hands that dominate him: AXh, KXh, QXh, 8Xh, 7Xh.

Getting into a pi.ssing match for a relatively small pot in which you have no read on whether the opponent made a straight or a flush, is pointless.

EDIT: Someone once posted a hand on FCP in which the "hero" called on the river with a Royal. This was at a $100 NL table.

I'm pretty sure that is the worst form of extraction possible. (The bettor was not all-in either).

I once checked down a Royal Flush
But in my defense, it was at a site that offered a Royal Flush bonus (pokerroom I think) and I was under the impression I had to showdown to get the bonus. No reason to lose a $50 bonus by raising a $5 pot.
Later I read the conditions, and I didn't have to show after all
