Default playing JJ

40-80 Casino Arizona. Game has about 3 fish and is loose/medium agressive. My friend who is a expert player tight/agressive, raises UTG. UTG+1 folds. I am UTG+2 with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I ended up cold calling, Who likes this play?

i think by not 3 betting this preflop you lend you self to situations where you fold when you ahead and pay off too much when you are behind.

Does "expert" mean that he'll only raise AA/KK/QQ UTG? If so, he's not an expert.

You have the fourth best hand in poker. Your friend could have as little as ATs or something that you completely dominate like 88. Raise without a second thought.

If that were the case he should have folded.
