He just lost $1000 to me, other than that i have no idea. He's playing mostly short handed now, which may give him a chance to turn into a small winner but i doubt it since there are also a lot of great players multitabling short handed 30/60.

Rumor has it that he just finished 12th in the 2500 LHE event.

DERB finishes 12th.

I also followed that thread, but with only tepid interest because I didn't play 30/60 at the time...now I do, however, and have been datamining a LOT since mid-May, and was excited to actually have my own DB in which I could check his stats.

What would you know: he's among the top 10 winners in EACH of the 2 DBs I've been mining with, and each DB has over 1,000 players. I don't know what to say...something sounds very, very fishy about this whole thing. I'm an anti-conspiracy theorist and would tend to simply call him a solid player who's probably running very well, if it weren't for those god-awful stats of his: 30/18.

Add to that the info from another thread stating that he was frequently seen sitting at a table with TWO other players from his same Eastern European location...
I dunno...

Those stats are not all that horrific if he's playing short-handed.

I for one, am out of the loop and have no idea who you guys are talking about. I play the 30-60 and know of several players who seem to out-preform their stats. If anyone would care to PM me with this guy's screen name, I'd be very interested. I've got a pretty big database myself and would like to look him up.

Lojzka: [he smiles out of nowhere, he hasn't been involved in a hand recently]
me: wow, you speak lojzka?
Random player, probably 2+2: he cheats too
me: why do you think that?
Random Player, 2+2: with his buddies d=from slovenia

I think he plays solid. He is especially tough short.

I don't mean solid likes he waits for ak, and he is tag. I just mean his style can be tough to counter when you can't hit a flop. He wins a lot of pots with the worst hand, and he is fearless. Two good traits for shorthanded play, that being said he does have weaknesses with overaggressiveness and hand selection. You can really but get him if you pick up a bighand. But, to say that he has to be a loser and he sucks is just not true. He plays a different style, and most people arent able to duplicate it, that is why you don't see a lot of players out there who do it and are winners. It also makes for some strange looking plays at times.
