True Poker NL tournies: Only 3 raises allowed
Is this a common rule or is it just with True Poker? I was playing in a NL tournament last night and this situation came up. I was unable to go over the top of the last raiser to protect my hand. I wound up winning the tournament so no big deal
Regardless, I contacted support about it. I suppose this is just a limitation with their software. This was there response: [ QUOTE ] This is quite normal, in limit or no limit tournaments, you are only allowed 3 raises per round. The difference between limit and no limit games is how much you can raise, but in both only 3 raises are allowed. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: True Poker NL tournies: Only 3 raises allowed
There should not be limits on raises in nl tournaments. I don't believe it is common and it really doesn't make sense in a nl context. Probably just their software can't handle more raises.

I'm not sure why this is the case, since I've played PL ring games there and seen up to 6 bets/raises in a single round.
