This seems a great flop to get action from an overpair. Only a few hands for him to fear. I'd play this one fast in some way, probably leading out the flop...

if there was one thing i did wrong was to call his reraise on the river. that was a bad call.

But i cant lay down in these situations (where i slowplay all the way hoping to trap) =/

2 outers suck. I think if you check raise flop you'll probably lose both of them which I suppose would have worked out better. From my experience of losing to 2 outers I think I'd rather get a bet or raise in on flop and 4th st, at least make him pay for it. You'll win a huge pot if someone has a 3, other than that you'll probably only lose a huge pot if someone hits a bigger full house.

This is a glorified bad beat post, and you blew any chance of constructive comments by posting the results. Everyone's just gonna say, "you should have played it fast so you could lose the overpairs"

yeah right.

Why do you want to lose the overpairs?

A "bad beat" is when you play it right, and lose by bad luck. I don't think this is the case, as i think i should have played this differently, especially on the river where his reraise seemingly meant the nuts.

plz correct me if im wrong, but i dont think this post qualifies as a "bad beat post"

and i really dont know how to play this flop. my hand was so good that the only thought passing through my mind is CHECK (as if i was holding flopped quads)
