Open raising w/KQo I only recommend if you hold a strong image and you are in the right game where you know bad players behind you will call with lessor hands. I treat AJo the same way.

Flop:

You played this perfectly. You have a gut-shot to the nuts getting 13:1 from the pot for your 11:1 shot.

Turn:

Bet out and see where you are at. Not betting here caused you to miss a bet on the river.

Welcome to the forum,
Joe Tall

I agree, I think you need to be the turn. You got one of the best cards possible and probably have the best of it.

Pre-flop: I don't like it. Raise is my least favourite option. I'd fold slightly more than I'd call but it depends on the table.

Flop: Fine.

Turn: Bet out here or a check-raise might be worth a go. Check calling doesn't really tell you anything.

River: Your turn check-call means you may have missed a bet here.

Agreed.

I'm guilty of deciding to check-call it down after seeing the 3bet and the flop and never re-calculated.
