Default 5/10 river call?

Some guy (the button) got on my ass about calling two cold PF and then not calling on the river (I almost capped PF but decided against it). I thought the turn was worth one bet with two overcards as there was over $70 in the pot but when I didn't hit either of them I just let it go. I didn't see a problem with this play but the button gave me hell about it so I thought I would check with others. UTG was TAG. My image was fairly aggressive.

Why are you not capping preflop? Cold-calling 2.5 bets is bad news.

I'd cap pf and try to get them to fold to your bets, not the other way.

definetly cap PF, you'll get a ton of respect for the cold cap, and you can fold a lot easier if you're raised by a bad hand reader, and you don't improve. AK is best when you have the gangsta INITIATIVE.

Thanks guys. Agree with you all.

What would be your hand limit on capping 2.5 bets like this in this scenario? I'm thinking just AA, KK, QQ, AKs, AK.

Thats about right. Of course I'll cap lighter (AQs, JJ, even TT) against LAGs and maniacs.
