The first mistake is usually the least costly. Here you are UTG betting a draw and then two reraisers behind you. The last one made a very HEALTHY raise and he's got position also.

Just wondering,
Question1: Why bet AJs UTG here? (That 3BB is a weak 'come on in' kind of raise.)

More important,
Question2: Why call 2 reraisers here, BIG raises, before the flop with only a draw, and out of position for the rest of the hand?

All the subsequent (later street) questions are just derived from these core questions.

I'd have limped and folded to the 2 re-raisers pre-flop here.

Ya ya, I know.

AJ is mediocre hand in good position, utg it shouldn't be played at all never mind raised with.

This topic is hypothetical, ie: a "what if" question. Positions don't matter.

P.S.: AJ is a very good hand. How could anyone fold AJs?

Position always matters in poker. And AJs is a good hand to see the flop cheaply with, not a great hand you need to be calling a large raise with, especially out of position (which again, is relevant).

On a side note, in pot limit omaha you correctly fold the nuts on the flop plenty of times.

I barely know how to play Omaha, let alone strategies. But please do explain.

Lets say you start with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the cut-off seat, the flop comes J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. There is a pot sized bet, a call, and a pot sized raise when it comes to you. You fold.

The other three people figure to have atleast two made straights between them, the flush draw, redraws to a higher straight, a set... Any card that isn't 2-6 without a club ruins your hand completely.

By the time the river hit you should have been raising enough to have at least one guy all-in. the board pairing would have scared me but by then, I would have had all of my chips in the pot so it would have been to late to fold. there was to much raising to not place a huge bet before the river.

All-in on the turn probably would have saved you from the previous mistakes. Most people would put you slow playing a monster after scooping 4 pots and not raising on the flop

Note: "His call preflop out of position" He was only up against the blinds? If so, he was going to be "in position" for subsequent rounds.
