I just got my new 2005FPW and Dell desktop set up, and finally got some hands in tonight after a short layoff. These were actually my very first two hands of the night, and I'd like to see if anyone has suggestions on how to maximize earn from these.

Both hands are Abso 2/4 6max and readless, as they are the first at each table.

Hand 1 (Quads!): 5 handed

Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG raises, folds, Hero calls.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG checks

River 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, UTG calls.

PF I was thinking if anyone else called, I 3bet. If its just headsup, I'll smoothcall and disguise my hand a bit. If anything, I think I should have led the turn. But maybe this is a "can't get blood from a turnip" kind of thing.

Hand 2 (Top Set): 6 handed

Folds, CO limps, folds, Hero raises, CO calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets, CO folds.

So. Two big hands, two drawless flops, both OOP, and each played pretty much opposite of one another. If anybody has any ideas on how to induce action HU and OOP, I'd appreciate it. But again, maybe this type of situation is one that you can't do anything about.

Nothing you can do here. I 3bet hand 1 tho. Hard to get action from quad aces, regardless, and the 2nd one I guess noone had anything. Your set over sets will come =P
